Clubhouse Cover Logos
Client: Focus on the Family - Clubhouse Magazine
Project: Most magazines change formats and freshen the look ever few years. There came a time when Clubhouse magazine decided to use a 3-D cover logo and alter it each month with 3-D objects or texturing that tied into one or more articles in the issue. They asked me to create the monthly logos and for severaly years thereafter, I created a new logo each month. These are just a few of my favorites. The original logo was created in Ray Dream studio and rendered in Black and White with all the possible alpha channels rendered as well. I then created a Photoshop master file with layers for the highlights and shadows so we could simply apply the texture or color we wanted and overlay 3-D objects in place of letters or pieces if desired. This was a fun challenge each month.
