ROME AD 68 Final Spread
Client: Focus on the Family - Clubhouse Magazine
Project: This was the illustraton for the final two page spread of the "Rescue in Rome" article. The printed piece also sported a full cartoon population by Ron Wheeler. This was one of the larger projects I produced for Clubhouse. The research and Illustration process spanned a couple of months, but it was worth it. What you are looking at is a scaled down representation of Rome and all the primary archetectual elements that were present in AD 68. If you know much about it, you will recognize some pieces and see that other very familar roman structures are notably absent. That's because they hadn't been built yet.
