Impossible Possibilities
Client: Focus On The Family - Clubhouse Puzzle Booklet
Project: Clubhouse asked me to put together their annual Puzzle booklet for a couple of years and to create a few of the mazes and puzzles to go in it. Limited to a 2-color printing job, I chose to use red and blue which I knew I could mix to get a surprisingly wide range of color from red to brown to purple to blue to semi-black depending on how the colors were mixed. Having been a long time Escher fan, so I jumped at this opportunity to do something completely at my own whim. I had been looking for an opportunity to explore the imposible architeture Escher is famous for and this is the result. It is hand drawn and scanned into the computer. From there I added the color enhancements and text. This is by far one of my all time favorite projects.
